What is Condor?

HTCondor is a high-throughput computing (HTC) system, also known as a distributed resource management system. It allows you to harness the power of idle computing resources across a network (e.g., desktops, servers) to execute large-scale computational tasks. It's commonly used for batch processing of jobs where each job can run independently, such as scientific simulations, data analysis, and machine learning model training. HTCondor manages the scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring of these jobs.
