What is Zebu?

Zebu is a hardware emulation system developed by Cadence Design Systems. It is used for pre-silicon validation and verification of complex electronic designs, primarily integrated circuits and systems-on-chip (SoCs). Zebu allows engineers to run simulations of their designs at speeds much faster than software simulators, enabling them to identify and fix bugs before the chip is manufactured, greatly reducing development time and costs.
