What is SurgiNet?

SurgiNet, also known as Surginet Explorer, was a system developed by Cerner Corporation (now Oracle Cerner) to facilitate real-time documentation and information access within the operating room environment. It aimed to improve workflow, communication, and patient safety by providing surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff with immediate access to patient charts, lab results, images, and other relevant data during surgical procedures.
