What is SmarTeam?

SmarTeam was a Product Data Management (PDM) system, originally developed by SmarTeam Corporation, and later acquired by Dassault Systèmes. It was used to manage product-related information, including CAD data, documents, and bills of materials. SmarTeam helped organizations to streamline their product development processes, improve collaboration, and reduce time-to-market. While no longer actively sold or supported under the SmarTeam name, its functionality has largely been incorporated into other PLM solutions like Dassault Systèmes' ENOVIA or Siemens Teamcenter.
