What is QTP?

QTP (QuickTest Professional), now known as UFT (Unified Functional Testing), is an automated functional testing tool originally developed by Mercury Interactive and now owned by Micro Focus. It's used to automate the testing of various software applications and environments. UFT allows testers to record and playback user interactions with an application to identify defects, ensuring that the software functions as expected across different platforms and browsers. It is commonly used for regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing of software applications.
