What is DSPy?

DSPy (pronounced "D-SPy") is a framework for programming with language models (LMs) in a more declarative and reliable way. Instead of manually crafting prompts, you define the task you want the LM to perform and DSPy handles the prompt optimization and LM finetuning to achieve the desired outcome. This allows for more robust and generalizable LM applications, as DSPy compiles your program and uses a 'teleprompter' module to adapt the LM call based on validation data. It commonly used to build complex LM pipelines and applications with greater control over performance and reliability compared to traditional prompting techniques.
