What is Azure AD Proxy?

Azure AD Application Proxy is a feature of Azure Active Directory that enables users to access on-premises web applications from outside the corporate network. It provides secure remote access without requiring VPNs by using a reverse proxy architecture. Users authenticate to Azure AD in the cloud, and the Application Proxy connector handles the communication between Azure AD and the on-premises application server.
