Winmo, short for Windows Mobile, was a mobile operating system developed by Microsoft for smartphones and Pocket PCs. It was commonly used for personal information management (PIM), email, web browsing, and running various third-party applications. Microsoft ceased mainstream support for Windows Mobile in 2011.
