What is sObjects?

sObjects are standard or custom objects in the Salesforce platform that allow you to store data. They are analogous to tables in a database. Each sObject has fields that define the type of data it can hold (e.g., text, number, date). sObjects are commonly used to model real-world entities and relationships, such as accounts, contacts, opportunities, and custom data specific to a business.
