What is Ribo-seq?

Ribo-seq (ribosome profiling) is a technique used to determine which RNA molecules are being translated and how efficiently. It involves isolating ribosome-protected mRNA fragments, sequencing them, and mapping the reads to the genome. This allows researchers to quantitatively measure translation and identify actively translated regions of the transcriptome.
