What is Radiography?

Radiography is an imaging technique that uses electromagnetic radiation, such as X-rays, to view the internal structure of a non-uniformly composed and opaque object such as the human body. A beam of X-rays is directed through the object, and a detector behind the object captures the varying amounts of radiation that pass through. This information is then used to create an image showing the densities within the object. Radiography is commonly used in medical imaging for diagnosing bone fractures, detecting foreign objects, and identifying certain diseases. It is also used in industrial applications for non-destructive testing of materials.
