What is Picard?

MusicBrainz Picard is a cross-platform music tagger. It uses MusicBrainz, a community-maintained open music database, to identify audio files and automatically add or correct metadata, such as track titles, artist names, album information, and cover art. It also calculates AcoustIDs, audio fingerprints, to help identify tracks even without existing metadata. It's commonly used to organize and clean up large music libraries.
