What is Phenix?

Phenix (Python Hierarchical Environment for Crystallography) is a software suite for macromolecular structure determination using X-ray crystallography and other methods. It provides tools for automating structure solution, refinement, and validation. Phenix is commonly used by structural biologists to determine the three-dimensional structures of proteins, nucleic acids, and other large biological molecules.
