What is On-Prem?

On-Premise (often shortened to On-Prem) refers to software and technology that is installed and runs on computers within the premises of the organization using the software, rather than at a remote facility, such as a cloud provider's data center. The organization is responsible for maintaining the hardware, software, and infrastructure required to run the application. It's commonly used when organizations have strict data security, compliance, or regulatory requirements, or when they want greater control over their IT infrastructure.
