What is ComCheck?

ComCheck is a software tool developed by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to help architects, engineers, and contractors demonstrate compliance with commercial building energy codes. It simplifies the process of determining whether a building design meets the prescriptive or performance requirements of various energy codes, such as ASHRAE Standard 90.1 and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). ComCheck is commonly used to verify that building envelope, mechanical, and lighting systems meet the minimum energy efficiency standards mandated by the applicable code.
