What is AP?

AP typically refers to Advanced Placement. It's a program in the United States and Canada created by the College Board which offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. Colleges and universities often grant college credit for high scores on AP exams, or allow students to skip introductory-level courses. It's commonly used to accelerate academic progress and demonstrate college readiness.
