What is Zero Touch Provisioning?

Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) is a process that automates the configuration and deployment of network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls. It allows these devices to be automatically configured with minimal human intervention when they are first connected to the network. Typically, a new device will boot up, obtain an IP address (usually via DHCP), and then contact a central server to download its configuration. This greatly simplifies and speeds up the deployment process, especially in large networks, as it eliminates the need for manual configuration of each device individually.
