XEVMPD (eXtended EudraVigilance Medicinal Product Dictionary) was a database maintained by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) containing information on all medicinal products authorized or registered in the European Economic Area (EEA). It was used for pharmacovigilance activities, helping to monitor the safety of medicines. The XEVMPD has been superseded by the ISO IDMP standards and the new substance, product, and organization management services (SPOMS), but understanding XEVMPD is still useful for those familiar with the older systems.
