What is Windows Security?

Windows Security (formerly Windows Defender Security Center) is a built-in security app in Windows 10 and 11. It provides a dashboard for managing various security features, including antivirus protection (Windows Defender Antivirus), firewall settings (Windows Defender Firewall), account protection, app and browser control, device security, and device performance & health. It's commonly used to protect Windows devices from malware, viruses, and other security threats, as well as manage system security settings.
