What is Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)?

Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), now known as Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), is a secure, web-based system for electronic invoicing, receipt, and acceptance of goods and services by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). It streamlines the invoicing process, reduces errors, and improves payment accuracy for DoD contracts. Contractors use PIEE to submit invoices, receiving reports, and other related documentation electronically, while government personnel use it to verify and approve these submissions.
