What is WFL?

WDL, or Workflow Description Language, is a workflow specification language developed by the Broad Institute. WDL is designed to orchestrate tools, typically command line tools, into workflows, also known as pipelines. WDL is often used in bioinformatics and other data-intensive fields to automate and manage complex computational tasks. WFL (Workflow Language) is the predecessor of WDL and refers to the overall language family.
