What is WebServices REST/SOAP?

REST (Representational State Transfer) and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) are architectural styles or protocols for building web services. REST relies on standard HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) to access and manipulate resources identified by URLs. It's lightweight, flexible, and widely used for building APIs.
