What is VNET?

Azure Virtual Network (VNet) is a fundamental building block for your private network in Azure. VNet enables Azure resources to securely communicate with each other, the internet, and on-premises networks. Think of it as a logical isolation of your Azure subscriptions to create your own private network space. You can define IP address ranges, create subnets, configure routing, and set up network security groups. VNets are commonly used to isolate applications, extend on-premises networks to the cloud, and create hybrid cloud solutions.
