What is VESDA?

VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) is an aspirating smoke detection system. It actively draws air samples from the protected environment through a network of pipes and analyzes them for the presence of smoke particles. This allows for the detection of fires at a very early stage, often before visible smoke or flames are present, enabling timely intervention and minimizing potential damage.
