VCE, formerly known as the Virtual Computing Environment Coalition, was a converged infrastructure vendor formed by Cisco and EMC (with investments from VMware and Intel). VCE provided pre-integrated and pre-validated computing solutions that combined server, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies. Their primary product was Vblock, which aimed to simplify IT infrastructure deployment and management. The company was eventually acquired by EMC, and its products and technologies became part of Dell EMC.
