What is UE?

UE typically refers to User Equipment. In the context of telecommunications, particularly cellular networks like 4G LTE and 5G, User Equipment represents the device a user employs to access the network. This is commonly a smartphone, but it can also be a tablet, laptop, or any other device that connects to a cellular network. The UE contains the mobile termination (MT) functions and handles communication with the network via radio signals.
