What is Tin Can?

Tin Can API (also known as Experience API or xAPI) is an e-learning software specification that allows learning activities to be recorded and accessed from various locations, both online and offline. It captures data about a person or group's learning experiences in a consistent format, enabling tracking of learning outside of traditional Learning Management Systems (LMS). It is commonly used to track informal learning, simulations, games, and real-world performance.
