What is TDD/BDD?

TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) are software development methodologies. TDD is a process where you write a failing test case before you write any production code. Then, you write the minimal amount of code to pass the test, and finally, you refactor the code. This cycle is repeated. BDD is an extension of TDD that uses human-readable descriptions of the desired software behavior as the basis for tests.
