What is TcRA?

TcRA likely refers to T-cell receptor alpha chain. The T-cell receptor (TCR) is a molecule found on the surface of T cells, or T lymphocytes, that is responsible for recognizing antigens bound to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules. The TCR is a heterodimer consisting of two different chains, an alpha (α) chain and a beta (β) chain (in most T cells) or a gamma (γ) chain and a delta (δ) chain (in some T cells).
