What is Symantec Ghost?

Symantec Ghost (now Broadcom Ghost Solutions Suite) is a disk imaging, deployment, and system recovery software. It's commonly used for creating backups of entire hard drives, deploying standardized system configurations to multiple computers simultaneously, and restoring systems to a known good state after failures.
