What is Supervised?

Supervised learning is a type of machine learning where an algorithm learns from a labeled dataset. This means the dataset contains examples with both input features and the desired output. The algorithm learns a mapping function that can predict the output for new, unseen inputs. Common uses include classification (predicting categories) and regression (predicting continuous values).
