What is SPMT?

An SPMT (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) is a platform vehicle with a large array of wheels. They are used for transporting massive objects, such as large bridge sections, oil refinery components, complete buildings, and other oversized or overweight items that are difficult or impossible to move with conventional trucks. SPMTs are typically modular, allowing them to be configured to different sizes and load capacities.
