What is SparkStreaming?

Spark Streaming is an extension of the core Apache Spark API that enables scalable, high-throughput, fault-tolerant stream processing of live data streams. It supports ingesting data from various sources like Kafka, Flume, Kinesis, or TCP sockets, and processing it using high-level functions like map, reduce, join, and window. Processed data can then be pushed out to filesystems, databases, or live dashboards. It is commonly used for real-time analytics, fraud detection, and monitoring applications.
