What is Soong?

Soong is the Android build system that replaced the older Make-based system. It's a build system based on Kati (a GNU Make clone) and Ninja. Soong is used to manage the compilation and packaging of Android platform components, apps, and other software. It uses Blueprint files (Android.bp) to define modules and their dependencies, offering a more maintainable and scalable build process compared to Make.
