What is SiGe BiCMOS?

SiGe BiCMOS is a technology that combines silicon germanium (SiGe) heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBTs) with standard CMOS (complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor) transistors on the same chip. This allows for high-speed analog and RF performance from the SiGe HBTs along with the high integration density and low power consumption of CMOS. It is commonly used in applications such as wireless communication (cellular, Wi-Fi), high-speed data communication, and automotive radar.
