What is SGX?
Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) is a set of security-related instruction codes built into some modern Intel CPUs. It allows applications to create isolated regions of memory, called enclaves, to protect sensitive data and code from being accessed or modified by processes running at higher privilege levels. SGX is commonly used to secure cryptographic keys, protect sensitive data in cloud computing environments, and enable trusted execution of applications.
