What is Service Principals?

A Service Principal is an identity created in Azure Active Directory for use with applications, services, and automation tools. It defines what the app can do in the Azure environment. It's similar to a user identity, but specifically designed for non-human entities to authenticate and access Azure resources securely, often used for automating tasks like deploying infrastructure or accessing databases without requiring human intervention.
