What is Service Accounts?

Service accounts are special Google Cloud accounts used by applications or virtual machines (VMs) to make authorized API calls. They provide a non-human identity, enabling applications to authenticate and access resources without human user involvement. They are commonly used for automation, CI/CD pipelines, and other server-to-server interactions where direct user authentication isn't feasible.
