What is Secure FTP?

Secure FTP (SFTP) and FTP Secure (FTPS) are protocols used for secure file transfer. FTPS adds security to FTP using SSL/TLS encryption. SFTP, on the other hand, is a file transfer protocol built on top of SSH, providing a secure channel for file transfer and management. Both are used to protect sensitive data during transmission between client and server.
