What is SAP APO/IBP?

SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) was a supply chain management software suite that SAP has largely replaced with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning). IBP is a cloud-based solution that provides capabilities for sales and operations planning (S&OP), demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and response management. It helps companies optimize their supply chains by improving forecast accuracy, optimizing inventory levels, and improving overall supply chain responsiveness.
