What is Robot?

A robot is a machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically, especially one programmable by a computer. Robots are commonly used in manufacturing, assembly lines, exploration (space, deep sea), surgery, hazardous environment work, and increasingly in domestic settings for tasks like cleaning and companionship. They can be autonomous or semi-autonomous and are often designed to perform tasks that are dangerous, repetitive, or difficult for humans.
