QinQ, also known as 802.1ad, is a networking technology that adds an additional 802.1Q VLAN tag to an already tagged frame. This allows service providers to create separate VLANs within their network for different customers, while still using the customer's existing VLAN configuration. It's commonly used to extend VLANs across a service provider's network or to isolate customer traffic.
