What is Project Reactor?

Project Reactor is a fully non-blocking reactive programming framework for building efficient and scalable applications on the JVM. It's based on the Reactive Streams specification and provides two reactive types: Mono (for zero or one element) and Flux (for zero to N elements). It is commonly used for building asynchronous data pipelines, handling backpressure, and managing concurrency with minimal overhead.
