What is POSPac?

POSPac MMS (Positioning and Orientation System Post-Processing) is a software solution developed by NovAtel (now part of Hexagon | Autonomy & Positioning) for post-processing GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) data. It's primarily used to improve the accuracy and reliability of positioning and orientation data collected by mobile mapping systems, such as those used in aerial surveying, photogrammetry, and mobile LiDAR. By combining GNSS data with inertial measurement unit (IMU) data, POSPac provides highly accurate trajectory and orientation solutions, significantly enhancing the precision of geospatial data products.
