What is pipework?

Pipework is a tool for connecting Docker containers in arbitrarily complex scenarios. It allows you to assign IP addresses to containers directly on the host network, bypass Docker's network management, and create more complex networking setups like connecting containers to VLANs or bridging them with physical networks. It achieves this by manipulating the network interfaces of the containers and the host.
