What is PDM-Systemen?

PDM-Systemen, which stands for Product Data Management systems, are information management systems that integrate data, processes, business systems and people in order to manage a product's life cycle from inception, through design and manufacture, to service and disposal. They are commonly used to centralize product information, manage engineering changes, control versions, automate workflows, and improve collaboration between teams involved in product development. Typical uses include managing CAD files, BOMs (Bill of Materials), documents, and product configurations.
