What is PDM/PLM systems?

PDM (Product Data Management) primarily focuses on managing product-related data, such as CAD files, specifications, and bills of materials. PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) expands upon PDM by managing the entire lifecycle of a product, from conception and design to manufacturing, service, and disposal.
