What is OPTIMOOR?

OPTIMOOR is a decision support tool developed by DNV GL (now DNV) for optimizing mooring system design and integrity management. It helps to assess and manage risks associated with mooring systems of offshore structures, such as floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels and floating wind turbines. It is commonly used for design verification, risk assessment, operational monitoring, and integrity management of mooring systems, aiming to reduce costs, improve safety, and extend the lifespan of mooring systems.
