What is OOPS?

OOPS stands for Object-Oriented Programming System. It's a programming paradigm based on the concept of "objects", which contain data, in the form of fields (often known as attributes), and code, in the form of procedures (often known as methods). A key feature of object-oriented programming is that objects' procedures can access and often modify the data fields of the object with which they are associated (objects have a notion of "this" or "self"). OOP is used to create reusable, modular, and maintainable code. Common uses include building complex software applications, GUI development, game development, and data modeling.
