What is On-Prem AD?

On-Prem AD, or On-Premise Active Directory, is a directory service developed by Microsoft for Windows domain networks. It is installed and managed within an organization's own data center infrastructure, providing authentication, authorization, and management of users, computers, and other resources. It's commonly used to centrally manage user accounts, enforce security policies, and provide single sign-on access to applications and services within the organization's network.
